Successfully Completes Factory Trial of Large-Diameter PE Pipe Extrusion Line (200–500 mm)

Comrise machinery, a leading manufacturer of high-performance plastic extrusion machinery, is proud to announce the successful factory acceptance test (FAT) of its newly developed Large-Diameter PE Pipe Extrusion Line designed for pipes ranging from 200 mm to 500 mm in outer diameter.

The trial was conducted in the presence of customer’s senior representatives , who traveled to our manufacturing facility to personally witness the machine's performance. After a full day of continuous production testing, the client expressed complete satisfaction with the line's output quality, energy efficiency, and operational stability.

Machine Overview

This new extrusion line is purpose-built for producing high-quality PE water supply pipes, drainage pipes, that meet international standards such as ISO 4427, EN 12201, and ASTM F714.

1. High-Torque Single-Screw Extruder

The extruder is the powerhouse of this line, featuring a barrier-type screw with a BM (Barr-Maddock) mixing section that delivers exceptional melting efficiency and homogenization.

2. Energy-Efficient Heating & Cooling System

Multi-Zone PID Temperature Control:6–8 independent heating/cooling zones along the barrel maintain precise temperature profiles (±1°C accuracy).

Forced Air Cooling Fans:Activated only when needed by the PID controller, avoiding unnecessary power consumption.

3. Vacuum Calibration Tank (with Internal & External Cooling)

Dual-Chamber Design:First chamber uses vacuum sizing for precise outer diameter control; second chamber provides additional cooling for complete solidification.

Stainless Steel Tanks with Reinforced Frame:Resistant to deformation under vacuum pressure.

4. Servo-Driven Caterpillar Haul-Off

Soft-Touch Polyurethane Belts:Provide firm grip without marking or deforming the pipe surface.

Automatic Pressure Adjustment:Sensors detect pipe diameter variations and adjust belt pressure accordingly.

5. Planetary Cutting System

Servo-Controlled Flying Saw:Accelerates to match line speed, cuts cleanly, and returns to home position–all without stopping production.
